Tzipora is a wonderful addition to our healing community. I called upon Tzipora in the early early days after giving birth. Breastfeeding wasn't going poorly, but there was evidence of possible tongue and lip tie and my son's latch seemed inconsistent.
Tzipora came to my house and imparted such a sense of calm. Our session was slow and easy - she adapted to my son's needs and even showed me how I could support his latch with gentle massage myself. Tzipora came several times, and since then, we have had an amazing breastfeeding journey. He sleeps, I've never had clogged ducts or cracked nipples, he goes to the bathroom easily. Tzipora came into our lives in a great time of need. Our first daughter had extreme colic and was very sensitive. She needed a warm and gentle touch to be soothed and cared for.
In came Tzipora. She listened to everything we said, even what we did not say. She intuited exactly what was needed and made us feel comfortable so we could get some rest while our daughter Sage was in nurturing hands. We trusted her completely after the first visit. We always looked forward to Tzipora coming and so did Sage. When we had baby number two, we immediately called Tzipora and we were off to the same loving start. Both of our girls flourished because of her, which allowed us to calm down, knowing our daughters were in great hands. I would recommend Tzipora for midwifery, Doula services, postpartum care and everything else. My wife and I cannot say enough about the special human being she is. Tzipora was one of my midwives and she also helped care for my son when he was two, even traveling with us a couple of times.
Tzipora emanates calm. During my pregnancy and labor Tzipora was attentive and intuitive, she was always helpful, always cheerful and appropriately encouraging. (I say appropriately because there are moments in labor when you don't want to be coddled!) She is an Earth Mama with a good dose of pragmatism. She is an exceptional listener and a real ally on the incredible path to welcoming a baby into the world. Tzipora is a kind and loving soul with a calming presence. She provided interventions to my newborn son and myself postpartum. My son had a tongue tie leading to difficulty with breast feeding and weight gain.
Once we started care with Tzipora, we saw a significant decrease of muscle restriction in his head, mouth, neck and torso. He has no scar tissue adhesions from the frenotomy which I attribute to the CST. Tzipora is very flexible and attuned to the infants needs sometimes treating him while he is breast feeding, if needed. She also treated me postpartum. I noticed a significant reduction in neck and low back pain. I feel fortunate to have been able to hire Tzipora twice as my postpartum doula! Tzipora has a very calm and nurturing demeanor which made it easy and seamless to open our home to her after the babies were born.
We utilized her for about 2-3 weeks immediately following the births. She was able to help with the child care of my other kiddos, but mostly she shopped for us, prepared delicious meals in our home, wore the baby so I could take a bath or rest, made sure I was getting meals and snacks while I was nursing, set up nursing stations with water and supplies, and more! he knows just how to take care of a postpartum mom as well as the responsibilities of a household, so a mom can rest and enjoy those early days with the new baby as much as possible. I always wished I could have kept her on for longer, her services were so invaluable to us! Tzipora also provides craniosacral therapy, which we also always did for baby, myself, and my husband.
